Senior Infrastructure BIM Modeler

Competencies

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in BIM modeling for infrastructure utilities projects.
Proven experience in roads, utilities and masterplan infrastructure developments.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Autodesk Civil3D.
Experience in infrastructure utilities coordination including wet and dry utilities.
Strong understanding of utility corridors, roads coordination, and multidisciplinary infrastructure requirements.
Experience working on infrastructure projects in the Middle East is preferred

Build professional relationships with infrastructure design teams, BIM Coordinators, and project stakeholders.
Present modelling and coordination outputs professionally in line with project and client requirements.
Support project delivery teams in maintaining high-quality BIM standards and coordination workflows.

Develop and manage high-quality BIM models for infrastructure utilities and roads projects using Civil3D.
Prepare coordinated utility models with roads, grading, landscape and other infrastructure disciplines.
Review and check work of BIM Modellers and Junior BIM staff; provide technical guidance and corrections.
Support BIM Coordinator in model maintenance, clash detection, coordination and data management.
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve multidisciplinary clashes/issues.
Ensure all modelling outputs comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), standards and naming conventions.
Manage and incorporate design changes into the model accurately and efficiently.
Produce model-based deliverables including plans, profiles, sections, schedules and coordination drawings.
Assist BIM Coordinator with project content creation, template management and BIM workflows.

Attend team meetings and contribute to BIM process improvement initiatives.
Stay updated with evolving BIM technologies, workflows, and industry best practices.
Maintain knowledge of 9E BIM standards and ensure consistent implementation across all deliverables.
Mentor BIM Modellers and Junior BIM staff by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
Apply company policies relating to health & safety, quality, and professional development

Expert proficiency in Autodesk Civil3D for infrastructure and utilities modelling.
Good working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and coordination reviews.
Working knowledge of Revit for multidisciplinary coordination purposes.
Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM 360 / ACC.
Good understanding of LOD standards and BIM deliverables.
Experience in roads corridor modelling, utility profiles, alignments and surface coordination.
Familiarity with Dynamo scripting and BIM automation workflows is an advantage.
Strong understanding of infrastructure design coordination requirements and utility clearances.

Understand, implement, and follow 9E QHSE policies at all times.
Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures within the workplace.
Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
Report any QHSE incidents immediately to the 9E QHSE Department and legal authorities if required.
